South London Rapper Fekky Hands Out 4,000 Turkeys for Christmas
South London rapper Fekky, from Deptford, has made Christmas extra special for thousands this year. The 37-year-old music star took to Deptford High Street on December 22 to hand out a whopping 4,000 turkeys to locals in need.
Giving Back with the C&C Foundation
This festive giveaway was organised through Fekky’s charity, the C&C Foundation, named after his sons Capree and Cuben. The foundation focuses on supporting young people and families facing tough times.
Video footage posted on Instagram shows Fekky and his team handing out turkeys straight from the back of a van, while “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town” played cheerfully in the background.
From Deptford to the Farm: Fekky’s Christmas Joy
Now living on his Kent farm, Fekky said giving back felt “really good” and brought him back to his roots. “I gave back to those in the community I came from,” he said.
“Growing up there was always this feeling of being able to go next door and borrow things, and it would make all of us come together. Getting brands to donate to my charity brings back that old-school feeling of coming together,” Fekky explained.
Touching Moments and Happy Faces
This year’s turkey giveaway hit home for many. Fekky shared the story of a woman who was planning a modest chicken dinner but was overjoyed to receive a turkey instead—making her Christmas feast far more festive.
“It felt amazing. Just to see the smiles on people’s faces,” Fekky said. “Some people thought it was too good to be true and asked ‘what’s the catch?’ There isn’t one.”
Spreading Hope This Christmas
Fekky called Christmas “the one birthday we all share” and urged everyone to come together after a tough year. He reminded those struggling not to hesitate to ask for help, highlighting the C&C Foundation’s ongoing efforts, including hosting Christmas Day dinners.
