Police Close Middle Road on the Isle of Wight after Collision
Police have closed Middle Road on the Isle of Wight this afternoon following a road traffic collision. Emergency Services are at the scene with Paramedics from Isle of Wight Ambulance service treating those involved. The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service were called to the scene at just before 2.30pm this afternoon. A number of appliances have been sent from Freshwater and Newport. One Person has been freed from a vehicle who was trapped using cutting equipment said a spokeswoman for Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue service She went one to say that crews are now making the scene safe as other vehicles have been involved.
