Suspect Nabbed Five Years After Fatal Attack
Detectives have charged Navarda Rhooms, 26, over the murder of Raja Ali in Dagenham. The killing happened on Sunday, 25 September 2016, at Braintree Road.
Swift Action After Arrest
Rhooms, from Eton Road, Ilford, was arrested on Tuesday, 2 January. He faced charges of murder and violent disorder the same day.
Held in Custody Ahead of Court Appearance
The accused was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Barkingside Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 3 January.
