A man has been arrested and charged by detectives investigating the murder of Raja Ali at Braintree Road, Dagenham on Sunday, 25 September 2016. Navarda Rhooms, 26 (13.9.91) of Eton Road, Ilford was arrested on Tuesday, 2 January and was charged that same day with the murder of Raja Ali and violent disorder. He was remanded in custody to appear at Barkingside Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 3 January.
