It all kicked off around 1.10pm on Wednesday, 13 June 2018, when an officer spotted a suspicious car on Mote Road driven by 19-year-old Courtney Graham. Police suspected the pair were involved in drug supply.

When the car stopped outside a shop, backup officers closed in. Graham tried to drive off but was blocked in by police vehicles both front and rear.

Crack Cocaine and Damning Texts Seized at the Scene

Graham’s passenger, 31-year-old Kenny Martin, reached into his hoodie pocket before both men were pulled from the car and arrested.

Police found 41 wraps of crack cocaine on Martin, worth between £820 and £1,230 on the street. They also confiscated his mobile phone, which contained texts linked to drug dealing.
