Machete Wielding Man Sparks Police Hunt
Police raced to Froissart Road at 5pm on Monday after reports of a man armed with a machete. The Met pulled out all the stops with firearms units, local cops, TSG, and even a police helicopter scrambling to the scene.
Quick Arrest, No Injuries
A Met Police spokesman confirmed that the man was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon. Thankfully, no one was hurt during the tense stand-off.
