Two Women Wanted Over Brutal Racial Attack in Regent’s Park
Police have released a photo of two women they want to ID in connection with a shocking racially-aggravated assault in Regent’s Park.
Elderly Couple Attacked After Dog Fight
The Met were called just after 8am on 13 August following reports of a dog attack and racial abuse. Two women allegedly assaulted a 75-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man after their dog attacked the couple’s two dogs.
The elderly woman needed hospital treatment after a nasty dog bite to her hand. The man was shoved to the ground and left with cuts and bruises.
Witnesses say the attackers hurled racist insults during the violent episode.
Suspects Fled Scene – Police Hunt Ongoing
The two women fled before officers arrived. So far, no arrests have been made.
Sergeant John Berry of the Met’s Royal Parks unit said: “The park should be a place where people can walk their dogs in safety. The level of aggression and violence used towards an elderly couple was shocking.”
He added: “Anyone who recognises these women is urged to contact police.”
