Police rushed to Station Approach, Chislehurst, at 10.26pm on Thursday, 30 July, following reports of a collision.

Man Suffers Serious Head Injury

Officers and the London Ambulance Service found a 44-year-old cyclist who had fallen from his bike, suffering a head injury. He was rushed to a south London hospital and remains in critical condition.

Roads Reopened After Overnight Closures

Authorities closed roads and set up cordons, which stayed in place until 3.15am on Friday, 31 July. So far, police believe no other vehicles were involved.

Enquiries are ongoing as police await further updates on the cyclist’s condition.
