Body Found in Coventry Lake Ends Search for Missing Man
Tragedy struck in Coventry as police recovered a body from a lake at Swanswell Park, bringing an end to the frantic search for 26-year-old Vishnu Jayakumar.
Last Seen Near Kasbah Nightclub
Vishnu was last seen on 31 January close to the city’s Kasbah nightclub. The body pulled from the water on 4 February is believed to be his, say West Midlands Police.
No Suspicious Circumstances
Officers confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. A police spokesperson said: “We recovered a body from a pool at Swanswell Park last night (4 Feb) around 4pm. We believe the body to be that of 26-year-old Vishnu, whom we circulated as missing this week.”
Family Notified as Community Mourns
Vishnu’s family has been informed, with police offering their heartfelt condolences. “Our thoughts remain with his loved ones at this difficult time,” the force added.
