Designer Drug Dealer Busted with £11,000 Crack Cocaine Haul
Abisola Ajayi, 30, from Dean Road, London, was arrested during a proactive police patrol in Aldershot town centre on Sunday 7 April.
Police Find £11k Worth of Class A Drugs and Designer Goods
Officers discovered a phone linked to drug activity in the Municipal Gardens area before detaining Ajayi on the spot.
A search of a nearby Queens Road address uncovered a large stash of Class A drugs, including crack cocaine and cocaine valued at around £11,000. Alongside the drugs, police seized offensive weapons, mobile phones, and £900 in cash.
The property also contained a vast collection of designer clothes from luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Dior, and Moncler, suggesting Ajayi funded an extravagant lifestyle from her criminal activities.
Charged and Sentenced: 42 Months Behind Bars
Ajayi was charged with three counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, two counts of being concerned in the supply, possession of criminal property, and carrying a weapon designed for discharging noxious liquids or electrical incapacitation.
After pleading guilty to all charges, she was sentenced to 42 months in prison at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday 5 June.
Police Praise Crackdown on Local Drug Trade
“Abisola Ajayi was brazenly drug dealing in Aldershot until our officers proactively stopped her in the town centre,” said Trainee Detective Constable Jonathan Heasman.
“Following a search of a nearby address, she was found in possession of approximately £11,000 worth of Class A drugs and I’m pleased to say these drugs are now off the streets.”
“She appeared to use her criminality to fund an extravagant lifestyle, as officers also seized a large amount of designer clothing and cash.”
“She will now be behind bars for a long period. This result highlights how seriously we take drug activity in the district.”
“Drug supply causes harm and misery to our communities, but our officers are determined to relentlessly pursue criminals to reduce the impact and keep everyone safe.”
