Tragedy Strikes Hendford Hill: Man Dies After Early Morning Attack

Man Found with Life-Threatening Injuries

Police rushed to a Hendford Hill flat just before 12:30am on Saturday, December 12, after reports of a serious incident. A 40-year-old man was discovered with life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital. Sadly, he died earlier this morning.

Two Men Arrested as Investigation Unfolds

Detective Inspector Chris Feerick, leading the Major Crime Investigation Team, confirmed that two men aged 23 and 29 have been arrested and are currently in custody. Officers are examining the scene under a police cordon, with increased patrols planned over the coming days.

Police Call for Information

“A full and thorough investigation will be carried out into this man’s death, and specially trained officers have been deployed to support his next of kin at this extremely difficult time,” said Det Insp Feerick.

“Incidents like this are very rare, but when they do happen, we understand the community’s concerns. We urge anyone with information to contact their local neighbourhood policing team or call 101 quoting reference 5220278520.”

The police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with details not yet shared to come forward immediately.
