Man, 44, Found Dead in South London – Murder Probe Underway

Body Discovered on New Park Road

Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 6:55am on Monday, 12 July to New Park Road, SW2. Officers arrived to find the body of a 44-year-old man.

His family have been informed and are receiving specialist support. Formal identification is still pending.

Post-Mortem Reveals Multiple Injuries

A special post-mortem at Greenwich Mortuary gave a provisional cause of death as multiple injuries.

Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation.

Suspect Arrested

On Wednesday, 14 July, a 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody at a South London police station.
