Police Hunt Witnesses After Brutal Attack at Hedge End’s Dowd’s Farm Park
Police are urgently seeking witnesses following a violent incident at Dowd’s Farm Park, off Wellstead Way in Hedge End.
Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in Park Brawl
The altercation involved a group of people between 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Thursday, July 7. A woman in her twenties was left with a broken sternum and a spinal fracture after the fracas.
Two Arrested as Investigation Continues
A 24-year-old man from Bursledon and a 23-year-old woman from Botley were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Both have since been released on bail until August 5 as police continue their inquiries.
Police Appeal for Eyewitnesses
Officers want to hear from anyone who saw the incident or the events leading up to it — especially a group of young people and someone with a small dog reportedly in the park at the time.
