Police are urging the public to come forward with any information regarding a distressing burglary that took place in Norton, where a woman in her 70s was subjected to threats and tied up. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on July 2 at a residence on Japonica Way.
According to reports, a male intruder entered the premises and bound the victim’s arms and legs, stealing her bank card while making multiple threats. It is believed that the suspect escaped by climbing over the rear fence of the property.
The victim, who suffered facial injuries and shock, was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment. The traumatic incident has left her deeply shaken.
