Most of a building’s roof smashed into the loft, triggering a swift fire brigade response. Firefighters quickly evacuated a woman trapped inside.
Neighbours Evacuated, Safety Cordoned Off
Four adults and two children were rushed from nearby homes as a 25-metre safety cordon was set up. Miraculously, no injuries were reported.
Fire Brigade On Scene in Under Three Hours
The Brigade received the call at 9:40am and wrapped up operations by 12:27pm. Two pumping engines from Walthamstow and a rescue unit from Edmonton handled the emergency with swift efficiency.
