British Transport Police (BTP) has released an image as part of an appeal for information following an assault at Walsall Railway Station. The incident occurred at approximately 10.25pm on Friday, June 23, when four men engaged in verbal abuse directed towards a 26-year-old woman in the corridor leading to the train concourse.

According to BTP, one of the four men turned back and hurled the contents of his drink can at the victim before the group proceeded towards the platform. Investigators are now seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the individual captured in the released image, as they believe he may possess crucial information related to the ongoing investigation.

Members of the community who have any relevant information are urged to get in touch with BTP. They can either text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 2300072202. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be provided to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
