Blaze Breaks Out at Rainham Car Workshop

Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters rushed to a massive fire at a car service workshop on Lambs Lane North, Rainham, Thursday afternoon.

Two People Treated for Smoke Inhalation

One woman and one man escaped the building before fire crews arrived. Both received on-the-spot treatment from the Ambulance Service for smoke inhalation.

Fire Brigade Responded Fast

The fire brigade was called at 12:48pm. The flames were under control and the incident wrapped up by 2:26pm. Crews from Harold Hill, Dagenham, Barking, Wennington, Tottenham, East Ham, and neighbouring stations all joined the fight.

Cause of Fire Still Unknown

Officials are investigating what sparked the blaze. No further details have been released yet.
