PC Jay Dewane Issues Stark Warning
“The safety of our roads is the responsibility of all who are using them,” said PC Jay Dewane from the Roads Policing Unit. “Too often, we see the devastating impact incidents can have on people. Everyone must do their bit to stay safe behind the wheel.”
He added: “Yesterday’s wet weather made matters worse. While most drove safely, it’s disappointing to see others taking reckless risks. The message is clear – it’s not worth the risk. Catastrophic crashes can be avoided if drivers stick to the rules and keep their vehicles roadworthy.”
