Man Dies After Brutal Stabbing in Blackpool as Murder Investigation Launched
Tragedy on Queen Victoria Road
A man has died after being stabbed in broad daylight in Blackpool. Police were alerted at 11.15am on Saturday, October 26, following reports of an assault on Queen Victoria Road.
Emergency crews found 35-year-old Kris Kam from Blackpool with two severe stab wounds to his upper leg. He was rushed to Blackpool Victoria Hospital but tragically died on Sunday evening, October 27.
Attackers Flee in Volkswagen Golf
Detectives believe Kris was attacked by a group of men who fled the scene in a black Volkswagen Golf. Several arrests have already been made as police hunt the suspects.
Temp Det Ch Insp Alisa Wilson said: “These are tragic circumstances and my thoughts are very much with Mr Kam, his family, and his friends at this sad time.”
Police Urge Public for Help
Wilson added: “We believe the attackers approached Mr Kam in a black Volkswagen Golf before making off in the same car. We want to speak to anyone who saw a vehicle like this around the time of the attack or who may have dash-cam footage.”
She reassured the public: “Attacks like this are rare. We’ve increased patrols in the area to keep people safe.”
