A crop fire was reported on Harp Farm Road in Boxley, Maidstone, by Kent Fire and Rescue Service. Six fire engines were dispatched to the scene, where three hectares of cut corn were ablaze. To put out the fire, firefighters used hose reel jets and a fogging unit. There were no casualties reported, and the cause has not been determined.
