Woman Harassed on High Street, Man Arrested
At around 9pm on Friday 24 March 2023, a woman was walking along the town’s High Street near Station Road when a blue Nissan Micra pulled up. A man inside made inappropriate comments. The suspect was challenged by a passerby and then drove off.
Suspect in Custody but Bailed
Kent Police launched an investigation and arrested a 64-year-old man on suspicion of harassment. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
