A police pursuit in North London ended in a multi-vehicle collision and fire on the Crooked Billet roundabout in Walthamstow on Monday, November 4, leaving two teenagers in the hospital and sparking a swift emergency response.

The incident began around 2:47 p.m. when a vehicle made off from police at Cooks Ferry roundabout in E4. At 2:58 p.m., the car collided with a man on a moped before crashing into another car on the Crooked Billet roundabout. The London Ambulance Service, which arrived within three minutes, said in a statement, “We were called at 2:59 p.m. to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Chingford Road and Billet Road, Chingford. Our crews are currently assisting our emergency services partners.”
