A man has been charged after police seized suspected class A drugs during a vehicle stop near Ashford on Friday evening.
Police Stop and Seizure
Kent Police patrols flagged a suspicious car travelling along the M20 motorway around 6:30 PM on November 15, 2024. Officers stopped the vehicle and detained the driver for a search, uncovering wraps believed to contain cocaine and heroin, alongside two mobile phones.
Subsequent searches by officers led to the discovery of cash, blocks of suspected heroin and crack cocaine, and an additional mobile phone.

Suspect Charged
The suspect, Akindele Balogun, 42, of Homefield Rise, Orpington, Greater London, was arrested and charged the following day with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Court Appearance
Mr. Balogun has been remanded into custody and is set to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today, November 18, 2024.
