Murder Arrest Following Death of 12-Year-Old Boy in Birmingham

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the tragic stabbing of a 12-year-old boy in Hall Green, Birmingham.

The incident occurred near Scribers Lane shortly after 3:00 PM on Tuesday, 21 January 2025. Emergency services were called to the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Sadly, he was pronounced dead despite medical efforts.

Investigation Underway

The family of the 12-year-old has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers. Police have launched a major investigation and are appealing for information that could assist in their inquiries.
