Boy, 14, Arrested After Tragic Stabbing of 12-Year-Old in Birmingham
Fatal Stabbing Rocks Hall Green
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the shocking stabbing of a 12-year-old in Hall Green, Birmingham. The attack happened near Scribers Lane just after 3pm on Tuesday, 21 January 2025.
Emergency services rushed the seriously injured boy to hospital, but despite desperate medical efforts, he was pronounced dead.
Major Police Investigation Underway
West Midlands Police launched a major investigation into the fatal stabbing. A police spokesperson said:
“We are working tirelessly to understand the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident and ensure justice for the victim and his family.”
The victim’s family have been informed and are receiving specialist support.
