A Christmas Day break-in attempt at a residential property in Bestwood has prompted police to release CCTV images of a person of interest. The incident, which occurred on December 25, 2024, involved multiple attempts to gain unauthorised access to a house on Andover Road.

Details of the Christmas Day Break-In Attempt

According to Nottinghamshire Police, the suspect was observed making several attempts to enter the property between 4:40 PM and 5:10 PM. The individual repeatedly tried the door handle before ultimately damaging and removing the property’s CCTV camera.

PC Harry Ford, leading the investigation, stated, “We are actively seeking to identify the individual captured in these images. The suspect’s actions have caused significant concern for the property owners during what should have been a festive celebration.”
