Police have unleashed CCTV images after a brazen break-in attempt on Christmas Day in Bestwood. The suspect targeted a home on Andover Road, repeatedly trying to force entry before smashing a CCTV camera.

Nottinghamshire Police revealed the intruder was caught on camera fiddling with the door from 4:40 PM to 5:10 PM on December 25, 2024. After failing to get inside, the suspect damaged the property’s CCTV system in a bid to cover their tracks.

PC Harry Ford, leading the investigation, said: “We are determined to identify this individual. Their actions have upset the homeowners during what should have been a peaceful Christmas.”
