Violent brawl sparks high-speed car chase and crash in Barnstaple High Street!
Chaos Erupts on Barnstaple High Street
At around 5:25pm on Monday, February 10, police raced to Barnstaple High Street following reports of a violent disorder involving several men. Officers tried to arrest two suspects, but they sped off in a car, triggering a dramatic chase.
The getaway ended abruptly when the suspects’ vehicle smashed into another car. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the collision.
Two Teenagers Nabbed for Multiple Crimes
A swift police search led to the arrest of two males, aged 17 and 18, shortly after the crash. They’re now in custody facing a string of serious charges:

- Dangerous driving
- Drug driving
- Affray
- Possession of drugs
