Shock at Barnard Park: Man Arrested for Flashing Near Children’s Playground
Police have launched a hunt for witnesses after a man brazenly exposed himself near a children’s playground in Barnard Park, Islington.
Indecent Exposure Shocks Local Families
The vile act happened around 6pm on Saturday, 12 April, in the busy N1 area of north London. A man reportedly flashed in full view of park visitors, including families with kids.
A quick-thinking member of the public alerted the authorities, who swooped in fast. Officers from the Metropolitan Police arrested a suspect at the scene. He is now charged and remains in custody while investigations continue.
The man is described as a white male wearing a red jacket and dark trousers at the time.
Police Urge Locals to Come Forward
The force is appealing to anyone who was near the playground that evening to step up with information.
“We understand the concern this incident may cause in the local community, particularly given the proximity to a children’s playground. We are committed to ensuring those responsible for such offences are held to account,” a police spokesperson said.
