Manhunt Underway After Shocking Sexual Assault in Lewisham Park
Police are urgently hunting a suspect following a sexual assault in Manor Park, Lewisham, on the evening of Saturday, September 6, 2025. The victim is receiving specialist support as officers continue their investigation.
Rapid Police Response and Cordon Now Lifted
A police cordon was quickly set up around Lewisham Park to control access and aid the investigation. The cordon restricted entry to residents and walkers earlier today but has since been lifted.
A spokesperson confirmed the force was alerted to the incident at 9:56 PM. So far, no arrests have been made and the suspect remains at large.
“One suspect remains outstanding. No arrests have been made at this stage and the investigation is ongoing,” a police spokesperson said.
