Three Bikes Stolen in Dead of Night – Thieves Busted at Dawn

At around 2.45am on May 28, three motorbikes were nicked from a property on Cook Road. But police acted fast.

Quick Arrests After Police Stop Vehicle

Just 45 minutes later, officers stopped a car and arrested three suspects. Jordan Walters, 21, from Sylvan Way, Bristol, and George Gillard, 21, of no fixed address, Bristol, have both been charged with burglary. They appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court this morning and will face Swindon Crown Court on July 1. An 18-year-old Bristol man caught up in the round-up was released pending further inquiries.

Stolen Bikes Recovered and Returned

All three stolen motorbikes have now been recovered and handed back to their owner, much to their relief.

“We urge anyone selling motorbikes or similar items online to be extra careful with personal information, especially your address,” said a Wiltshire Police spokesperson. “Criminals often use fake interest to target sellers. Selling online is handy, but potential buyers may not always be genuine.”
