Huge Drug Haul as Police Raid Derelict Building
Police stormed a rundown property and uncovered two massive blocks of cocaine, plus stash of cannabis, mamba, and piles of cash. The drama kicked off when a man inside tried to escape by climbing out a window and scrambling onto a car roof – but he was soon caught by Police Dog Quantum.
The 35-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply, covering both Class A and B substances, along with acquiring criminal property. A 25-year-old woman found inside was also arrested on the same charges. Both now face serious drug supply charges.
Suspended Driver Nabbed After Vehicle Stop
In Sutton-in-Ashfield, officers stopped a suspicious Volkswagen Golf and quickly found its 24-year-old driver was suspended and uninsured. Thomas Seagrave, who has no fixed address, faced immediate arrest.
He was charged, convicted, sentenced to eight weeks in prison, and slapped with a five-year driving ban for driving while disqualified and without insurance.
Gun Scare in Lenton Turns Out to Be Pellet Guns
A high-speed police manhunt unfolded in Hucknall after reports of two men pointing guns at each other. Officers swooped in, using tactical contact and a police drone to detain two suspects.
Thankfully, the weapons were revealed to be Airsoft pellet guns. Both men received citations for threatening behaviour and stern warnings to keep it civil moving forward.
