A new snap taken by mum Kate shows Princess Charlotte beaming in a white floral dress. The little royal is all smiles ahead of a huge day.
Charlotte Set for Coronation Spectacle
Third in line to the throne, Princess Charlotte is gearing up to watch her grandad, King Charles III, crowned at Westminster Abbey on May 6. It’s Britain’s first coronation ceremony since 1953 – a historic event for this great-great-great-great-great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria.
Royal Kids Ready to Shine in Procession
Reports say Charlotte will join her siblings in the grand procession after the coronation. Big brother Prince George will serve as one of eight Pages of Honour, marching through the nave and helping with ceremonial robes.
Balcony Appearance to Steal the Show?
The royal trio are expected to appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony, with fans hoping Charlotte has as much cheek as little Prince Louis did during the Platinum Jubilee bash. The royal siblings live at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor’s Home Park and attend Lambrook School near Ascot.
A Spirited Princess With a Caring Side
Charlotte has a feisty streak, reportedly more spirited than George. The late Queen Elizabeth II once noted Charlotte loves looking after her older brother. Mum Kate has called her “the one in charge.”
Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born at 8.34am on May 2, 2015, at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London, weighing a healthy 8lbs 3oz.
