Brutal Bottle Attack in SE5 Leaves Two Men Injured

Violent Assault Rocks Warner Road

Police rushed to Warner Road, SE5, at around 5.35pm on Sunday, 13 June after reports of a brutal assault. Officers and ambulance crews found two men injured at the scene.

Man in 50s Hospitalised After Bottle Attack

The first victim, a man in his 50s, suffered a nasty head injury after being hit with a bottle. He was rushed to hospital and remains under care.

Two Arrested on Suspicion of GBH

  • The injured man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and possession of an offensive weapon.
  • A second man in his 30s, who got cuts to his hands, was also hospitalised and later arrested on suspicion of GBH. He has since been bailed until late July.

Police Appeal for Witnesses
