Nicholas Brendon, best known as Xander from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has been hit with shocking grooming allegations — a month after his death. The actor, who passed away in his sleep aged 54 from “natural causes,” now faces serious claims from a woman who says he preyed on her when she was just 17.
Woman Comes Forward with Harrowing Story
A woman identified only as Jane Doe 1 revealed she met Brendon at Awesome Con in April 2013. Then, 42, Brendon reportedly charmed her into giving him her number, supposedly for acting advice. Instead, she says he bombarded her with “flirty” messages and pressured her for nude photos.
“It’s OK, you’re the age of consent,” he allegedly said, after checking South Carolina laws. When she said she felt uncomfortable, he supposedly shot back, “I’m famous. I’m giving you attention. You should be doing what I ask you to do.”
According to Jane, Brendon “ghosted” her within six months, leaving her “absolutely devastated.”
Nicholas Brendon’s Troubled Past
- Past run-ins include stalking and harassment charges.
- Repeated “inappropriate sexual comments” to fans at conventions.
- Accused of domestic violence by an ex-girlfriend.
- Banned from multiple fan conventions amid sexual harassment claims.
Given this long history, the new grooming allegation – though posthumous – isn’t exactly surprising.
Fans Speak Out
