A woman has been charged with attempted murder following a terrifying collision in Westminster in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Crash Leaves Pedestrians Injured
At around 4:30am on 19 April, police were called to Argyll Street after reports of a car smashing into pedestrians. Emergency services found a woman in her 30s in a critical, life-threatening condition. A man in his 50s suffered life-changing injuries and was rushed to hospital. Another woman, also in her 30s, was treated for minor injuries.
Suspect Named and Charged
Gabrielle Carrington, 29, from Broadfield Road, Manchester, faces several serious charges. These include attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, and drink driving. She was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 21 April.
