Police have launched an urgent appeal following a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a van in Lower Road, Tonge, near Sittingbourne on Saturday, 25 April 2026. The 17-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene after the crash involving a black KTM Duke and a blue VW Transporter at around 4.50pm. Authorities are seeking witnesses to help piece together the events leading up to the tragedy.
Crash Involving Two Vehicles
The collision occurred as the KTM Duke was travelling towards Teynham and the VW Transporter was heading in the opposite direction towards Sittingbourne. The young rider sustained fatal injuries, instantly declared deceased by emergency responders at the scene.
