Police launch urgent appeal after Waterside Archers clubhouse in Exbury, New Forest, is burgled and set ablaze.

£2,000 Worth of Archery Gear Stolen

In the early hours of Sunday, December 18, burglars broke into the Waterside Archers clubhouse near Exbury Gardens. Thieves made off with £2,000 worth of valuable equipment, including Rolan bows, arrows, and a Garrett Ace 150 metal detector.

Fire Ravages Clubhouse After Burglary

After stealing the equipment, the culprits set two portable toilets on fire at the site. The blaze spread, causing significant damage to the clubhouse interior. All trophies inside were destroyed, leaving the club without any facilities or gear for its members.

Police Hunt for Witnesses and Stolen Gear

PC Claire Scammell urged the public: “If someone offers to sell you items matching this description, please contact police immediately. Waterside Archers have lost everything—equipment and trophies alike.”
