Crooks targeted his house and stolen hundreds of pounds worth of possessions, including Chinese katanas (Samurai swords), chinese and japanese plates, a massive blue bowl/vase and various other bit.

The family who have spoken exclusively to UK News in Pictures have told how the family made the discovery after visiting the scene just days after the death.

Paige De Ste Croix and my partner Lee Sharp said that his son went up his house to start getting his affairs in order and made the discovery.

“The thieves may have been staking the place out” said Paige

“It seems they’ve been watching the flat and the knew it would be empty.

“It’s the lowest of the low and we’re all shocked that somebody would turn over a dead man’s home.

“It’s disgusting.”

The breaking is possible being linked to other raids in the Portsmouth area by the same group.

If anyone has any information or is offered any Chinese katanas (Samurai swords), Chinese and japanese plates they are asked to contact West Sussex Police on 101.
