Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in her car on the A3 near Liss.
Some time between 11.30am and 11.50am on Monday 26 June, the drivers of a red Nissan Micra and a Silver Range Rover were involved in a dispute on the A3 northbound between Bedhampton Roundabout and Ham Barn Roundabout.
It was reported that both vehicles came to a stop at Ham Barn Roundabout before the driver of the Range Rover got out of her vehicle and assaulted the driver of the Nissan through the window.
The victim, a 55-year-old woman, suffered injuries to her face as a result.
The driver of the Range Rover has been described as:
Aged approximately 30 years
Blonde tied back hair
Tattoos on upper chest
Wearing a strappy top
PC Michael Nol, of Havant Roads Policing Unit, said: “This is a busy stretch of road and I have no doubt that other road users would have witnessed at least part of this incident.
“I would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or the moments prior to the assault.
“In addition, we would like to speak to anyone who can help us identify the driver of the Range Rover so we can speak to her about what happened.”
