Officers revealed the vehicle was just driven onto the trailer with no straps, chains, or any safety measures to keep it in place. They warned relying on gravity alone is a recipe for disaster.
“Merely driving a vehicle onto a trailer without securing it is extremely dangerous. Contrary to popular belief, gravity is not enough to stop an insecure load from falling,” said the police statement.
