Nissan Qashqai Crashes Off M55, Ends Up in Field
The terrifying crash happened just before 10pm on Wednesday, October 1. A grey Nissan Qashqai exited the westbound M55 at Junction 2 before smashing into the roundabout at the slip road’s end. The car then left the road entirely, finally coming to rest in a field beside Edith Rigby Way.
Driver Seriously Injured, Police Seek Crucial Eyewitnesses
The driver, a man in his 20s, suffered critical injuries and was rushed to hospital. Police are desperate for witnesses who saw the accident or the car beforehand to come forward now.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is especially keen to get hold of any dashcam footage from around the area at the time of the crash.
