Man Stabbed in Dagenham Handed Hospital Treatment
Police rushed to Blackborne Road, Dagenham at 2:03 PM on Friday, June 21, 2024, after a stabbing was reported. Officers, joined by the London Ambulance Service, found a man in his 20s with a stab wound to his hand.
The victim was taken to hospital where medics confirmed his injuries were serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.
Three Men Arrested as Knife Seized at Scene
Authorities quickly arrested three men connected to the stabbing. They remain in custody as enquiries continue. A knife was recovered at the scene.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called to Blackborne Road, Dagenham at about 14:03 hrs following reports of a stabbing. The man, aged in his 20s, was treated for a hand wound. His injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.”
They added:
“Three men have been arrested and are currently in custody. A knife has been seized. Investigations are ongoing.”
Police Urge Public to Come Forward
Police are calling on anyone with information to contact the Metropolitan Police or Crimestoppers anonymously. The investigation remains active as officers piece together what led to the stabbing.
