72-Year-Old Woman Targeted by Distraction Thief in Nottingham Bank
A 72-year-old woman was robbed inside a Lloyds Bank branch in Nottingham after a distraction thief stole her bank card at the cashpoint.
Thief Makes Off with Cash Before Leaving Bank
The victim was approached by a man while withdrawing money on 15 May 2024. The crook distracted her and snatched her card without her noticing. He quickly withdrew a substantial amount of cash before disappearing.
Police Hunt Suspect Using CCTV Footage
Authorities are combing through CCTV footage to identify the suspect. They’ve also released an image of the man and are urging anyone who recognises him to come forward.
“We appeal to the public to help us catch this thief,” police said. “If you have any information, please get in touch.”
