Fourth Arrest Made After Chatham Brawl
Kent Police have made a fourth arrest following a violent disturbance in Chatham last week.
Fight Breaks Out in Broad Daylight
At around 3pm on Thursday 26 May 2022, officers were called to reports of a group of men fighting on the streets of Chatham. Two men, aged 19 and 20, were quickly arrested on suspicion of affray near the scene. A third man, also 20, was detained the next day. All three have since been released on police bail.
Fourth Man Held, Still in Custody
On Saturday 28 May, a fourth suspect, 21, was arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in police custody. Kent Police continue to investigate the incident.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Police have released CCTV footage and want to identify a man pictured who may hold key information. Anyone who witnessed the fight or can assist the inquiry is urged to contact Kent Police on 01634 792209, quoting reference 46/100918/22.
