County Lines Kingpins Caged for Nine Years in Winchester Drugs Bust
Two men have been locked up for a combined nine years after a major County Lines drugs operation was smashed in Winchester. Jason Onyewumbu, 28, from Wandsworth, and 24-year-old Brandon Terry Kane, also from Wandsworth, were arrested in September 2020 following a joint probe by Hampshire Constabulary and the Metropolitan Police.
Guilty Pleas Land Long Sentences
Both men pleaded guilty at Southampton Crown Court on 3 June to conspiring to supply Class A drugs. Onyewumbu was handed six years behind bars, while Kane was sentenced to three years and one month.
Heroin and Cocaine Peddled via “OLLIE” Phone Line
Court heard the duo ran a sinister operation supplying heroin and cocaine through a dedicated contact number dubbed the “OLLIE” line. They exploited vulnerable individuals to deliver drugs around Winchester, fuelling addiction in the city.
£82,000 Worth of Class A Seized in Multi-Location Raid
A sweeping investigation led to five simultaneous raids on properties linked to Onyewumbu and Kane. Officers uncovered a stash of Class A drugs valued at around £82,000, plus £6,000 in cash.
