Hit-and-run horror in Totterdown leaves cyclist fighting for life

In the early hours of Friday, a hit-and-run crash on St Luke’s Road, Totterdown, left a cyclist seriously injured and battling for life. The cyclist was struck by a car around 3:10am and rushed to hospital for urgent treatment.

Driver speeds off, police launch hunt

The driver failed to stop and fled the scene, sparking a major manhunt. Avon & Somerset Police are now scrambling to track down the culprit. Luckily, officers have recovered a vehicle nearby matching eyewitness descriptions, helping crack the case wide open.

Police beg for witnesses and dashcam footage

The cops are calling on anyone who saw the smash or has dashcam footage to step forward. “Eyewitness testimonies and dashcam footage can prove instrumental in painting a clearer picture,” police said.
