Brutal Unprovoked Attack in Hastings: Police Hunt Witnesses

Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a shocking unprovoked assault in Hastings.

Young Man Left with Fractured Eye Socket

The victim, a 24-year-old local lad, was attacked without warning at the busy junction of Robertson Street and Cambridge Road. An unknown man approached him between 12.30pm and 2pm on Thursday, 3 November, before launching the assault.

After reporting the attack, the victim was rushed to hospital where doctors confirmed he suffered a fractured eye socket among other injuries.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Officers are especially keen to hear from an elderly woman who may have seen the incident. Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
