Elderly Pedestrian Killed in Shocking SW11 Crash

Police were scrambled to Falcon Road at 8.55pm on Saturday, 11 January after a nasty two-car crash at the junction with York Road.

Tragic Death on Falcon Road

A pedestrian in his 60s was caught up in the collision and sadly died at the scene. Emergency services pronounced him dead before taking further action.

Hit-and-Run and Arrest

One driver, a 32-year-old man, fled the scene on foot but came back shortly after. He was promptly arrested for causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop.

Investigation Ongoing – Witnesses Needed

The other driver, aged 29, was not arrested and is helping police with their enquiries. Roads were closed but are now reopened.
