Fire Hits Famous Baker Street Nail Salon in Early Morning Blaze
Firefighters raced to Baker Street in London after a fire broke out at the crack of dawn. The London Fire Brigade was called at 4:04am on Sunday to tackle flames at VY Nails, located at 234 Baker Street.
Flats Above Caught in Blaze
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters from Euston, Paddington, and Soho fire stations responded swiftly. The fire damaged part of the ground floor shop and the flats above. Police shut down Baker Street between Melcombe Street and Park Road while crews battled the blaze.
Fire Under Control by 5:22am
Thankfully, the fire was under control within an hour and eighteen minutes. The cause remains unknown and is currently under investigation.
