A fire that destroyed a garage in Orpington is currently under investigation by the police.
The blaze on Cotmandene Crescent was battled by 25 firefighters and four fire engines on Friday night.
Emergency Control Officers reportedly received seven calls about the blaze, which was first reported at 10:34 pm. The fire was brought under control within an hour.
There were no reported injuries.
Crews from Orpington, Eltham, and Bromley fire stations attended the scene.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire in a block of terraced garages on Cotmandene Crescent in Orpington. One garage was destroyed by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.”
“The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took seven calls to the blaze. The first call was at 22:34, and the fire was under control by 23:21.”
“Crews from Orpington, Eltham, and Bromley fire stations attended the scene.”
“The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.”
The investigation will seek to determine the cause of the fire and whether any foul play was involved.
